Blue Feather, like Be-Be
and Orange Feather, did not speak to me. I looked at his unpainted
form for weeks and his cute but rather plain facial features.
I finally stopped asking myself what I don't like about him
and instead tried to find what I do like about him. What I like
is his low slung rotund chest and belly, his feet and his very
erect tail.
I think all my brooding over
him had something to do with his ending up with blue feathers.
I wanted a feather design on his stomach area that was small,
so as not to detract from his bowling ball shaped chest and
belly, but would also design a combination of long grey, blue
and black feathers extending onto his tail. Upon completion
I decided I liked him very much.
