All Tied Up is the only
chicken or Pullet in the acrylic rooster series. Her body type
is very different in its appearance when contrasted with the
roosters. We girls are different, though. After all, we were
built for reproduction. All Tied Up is an off-white color with
red tail feathers, face, feet and comb.
She has pins and needle painted
on her surface with a red thread which raps around her and her
painted egg. The pins and needles represent to me the pain and
sorrow of motherhood. The thread is a life line which is tenuous.
When we become mothers we most often become very focused and
truly are all tied up for awhile.
